Went away last weekend - impromptu trip to Byron Bay. Decided to leave the digitals at home, packed some Portra and Tri-X and hit the road with my M6.
Waking up at 6am, on holiday, is the hard part. Beautiful once you're out the door, golden light streaming everywhere, serene and calm.
Two days later I finish my roll, but the tension never comes. My frame counter has hit 40... a terrible sinking feeling.
In the dark I know what I will find. The film roll has not taken, the leader is mocking me in silence...
The 36 best exposures of my life... that never were.
